Today, I want to share a piece of my heart – a story of resilience, transformation, and unwavering determination. It's a story that begins with uncertainty and fear but blossoms into triumph and empowerment. It's my story – a journey from serving three decades in the Air Force to stepping boldly into the realm of personal empowerment.
A few weeks after bidding farewell to my esteemed military career, I found myself grappling with a whirlwind of emotions – anxiety, stress, and overwhelm. For thirty years, I had thrived in the structured, disciplined environment of the Air Force. It was a world of clarity, purpose, and unwavering commitment – a world where I knew exactly what was expected of me and where I belonged.
But as I stood on the threshold of a new chapter in my life, the weight of uncertainty descended upon me like a ton of bricks, casting shadows of doubt and insecurity over my once unshakeable confidence. I still remember those tearful moments in my closet, questioning whether I would ever find my footing in a world vastly different from the one I had known for so long.
However, amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope emerged – a burning desire to make a difference, to embrace change with courage and grace. Slowly but surely, I began to lean into believing in myself and the infinite possibilities that lay ahead.
The first step on my journey of reinvention? Taking "SLAY" to another level. This one word became more than just a mantra – it became a catalyst for transformation, sparking countless opportunities in both my personal and professional life. Through "SLAY," I discovered the power of authenticity, the strength of vulnerability, and the beauty of embracing my true self.
I realized that my true power wasn't in the uniform I wore or the ranks I held, but in the courage to reinvent myself, to embrace my own power, and to share my light with the world.
I have an exciting announcement to share with you all – the upcoming release of my new 65-page guide! This guide outlines my journey of empowerment and offers invaluable strategies for women over 40 to step into their most authentic personal brand and gain lucrative opportunities! I'll keep you posted!
Keep on SLAYin' until you can't SLAY no more!
